Success

As a teacher, I have a desire to make my students success in learning. Especially in learning English language because it is my job to teach English language. For that purpose, I will states several theories of how to get success.

Talking about success, I, define success as accomplishment. If we able to accomplish what we want, it means success. Example, I am thirsty. Because of thirsty, I want to get water to drink, and then I take a glass of water and drink it. It is success. A simplest thing we can accomplish, it also means success.

Yet, that was a small dream.

You have a big dream. Aren’t you?
So, what is the matter of having a big dream?
The matter is the opportunities of being success are also big.

Then, take a look at Agnes Monica' words "Dream, Believe and Make it comes True".
From this statement, we can assume that first thing should we do is dream.

Why  should it be dream?
On my opinion, Dream is goal, it is our purpose, and it is our star.

According to Farid, Indrawan and Jamil in their book titled Kubik Leadearship (2009), the advantages of having a star are making us easy to chose a decision, it will make us focus to what we would like to be and also be one of motivation and reason to accomplish our goal.

Listen, having a big dream is not an easy task for us. We will face difficulties in the way to accomplish it. We may fail several times but still, we will not give our dream up because of it. We will face it and tackle the difficulties down and still we have our dream. It is the reason and energy for us to move forward. It is all what we want. We want to achieve it and I believe we will definitely achieve it by having dream.

Dream is desire. Dream differs from want.
Irwan Widiatmoko (2009) in his book titled Super Great memory differ "want" and "Dream" as follow:
"Impian adalah bagian dari keinginan. Impian memiliki makna lebih khusus, Impian digunakan untuk keinginan yang besar, keinginan yang menurut kebanyakan orang sulit atau tidak mungkin dicapai."

So, Dream is part of want. Thing that people thought is impossible to reach, but, indeed one of factor of success. Factor that can make peoples success. People who believe in dream will success.

Dream is desire. In dream we put our emotion.
In his speech titled Why we do what we do, I notice Tony Robbins says the defining factor why people failed to achieve something is their lack of emotion. So, dream will drive you to success.

Visualize your dream on your mind and feels it as if it is becoming true, and believe it will become true may one of my recommendation after all. Emotion is believed. Putting your emotion means putting your believe. You put your faith in your dream.

Now, Dream will remain as dream if we do not move. It will remain nothing if we do not try to makes it happen.

What kind of movement should we do?

According to Farid, Indrawan and Jamil in their book titled Kubik Leadership (2009),there are three kind of movement (action) that should we have. First, Work hard. Second, Work smart and last, Work sincerely.

Ok! If you have decided what your dream is, then, do these all three action.
You work hard for it. Put all your strength to achieve it.
You Work smart for it. Make useful of your mind in it.
You work sincerely for it. After you do it, leave it to god. All we do are in permit of God anyway.

If I connected what can make us success with the learning. It will be going like this:

You should dream that you are able to achieve your goal which is your star to reach. In this context, you dream that you will master English language. After you dream it, believe it! Put your emotion in it which gives you the strength to move; to make actions!

So, be smart and makes it happen!

I am not guaranty that those theories will make you success. But, if we have a new knowledge of how to be success, why don’t we do it. I do it anyway.

:D
